Center of Attention

Seven weeks old now, and hands-down the most spoiled foal we've ever had. But, I guess that's bound to happen when you fight so hard just to keep them alive.

Nearly every Sunday during the summer, my entire horse-family gathers at my parents place. The dad gives riding lessons to anyone who brings a horse, but the real reason we gather is simply to eat and enjoy each other's company. :3 Because, even if the weather is terrible or the arena is unusuable (like it was today XD) we still gather for 'Sunday Nights at Mark and Carrie's'. It had been awhile since a bunch of the group had seen Merlin and we were talking about how far he had come. So, one of the girls went and got him, and Mark lifted him up onto the deck so two of my grandmas (who can't get around as well anymore) could see him.  He would've been in the house if he could've figured out the big step through the door.  He really tried. xD
